Possibly the most successful advert in the history of recruitment: placed by Ernest Shackleton for his Trans-Antarctic Expedition team. Next time you are working on an ad. for, say, contact centre recruitment, and are tempted to portray it as a lot of shiny, happy people having fun (apologies to REM), maybe a sense of challenge and mission is something you want to think about building in there, too, to attract people with the right character.
